Volunteers can gain valuable experience, training and fulfilment from working in the Woodlands and at the Farm Garden, along with encouragement and support from our staff and other volunteers.
Types of work available
We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities including:
- coppicing & scrub clearance
- logging
- looking after our animals
- egg, collecting, washing & boxing
- tending the market gardens
- maintenance
- marketing
- administration
- running events
- fundraising
Essential Information
To work outdoors at either project you will need:
- strong footwear, preferably waterproof and with steel toecaps
- 'working' clothes
- outer garments to suit the weather
- packed lunch and any drinks you may require

Volunteers are welcome to join any of our work on any day but for a real buzz why not join others on a regular basis on Tuesdays?
